Born in Buenos Aires. Argentina, Sonia holds a MA in Business Communications from the prestigious Business School at UADE in Buenos Aires.  Sonia is fluent in 7 languages and volunteers as a simultaneous interpreter for a variety of medical doctors in Colorado.  She has provided real estate services to international clients as well as celebrities for 30 years in Hawaii and Colorado.  She formed the team that created the Kapi'olani Craniofacial and and Cleft Multi Disciplinary Center which provides services to 935 children, was also part of the team that added a $35M medical center annex.  Sonia is an abstract painter and a musician, poet, an avid skier and biker.

She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Colorado Association of Realtors Foundation, a member of the Board of Directors of the Yampa River Botanic Park, the prior president of the Yampa River Botanic Park, a prior membership chair of Women United, Routt County United Way and prior president of the Running Bear HOA, prior memeber of the board of directors of the Steamboat Springs Board of Realtors.

Prior to moving to the United States, Sonia was the only woman selling steel in Argentina.  She also worked for the Foreign Service.  Sonia and her husband David Franzel (aka Coach David) sponsor "Sascha's Rock Garden" at YVBP and give out a graduation award at CSU.
