This annual event is co-sponsored by the Steamboat Springs Board of Realtors, Steamboat Pilot/Today, Routt County Economic Development Partnership, Routt County Republicans and Routt County Democrats. This is a moderated event preferably held around the 10th of October, prior to the mailing of the ballots. Depending on the number of candidates and issues, it could be either a one evening or two evening event. .
